SBEM’s Open Channel Rate of Flow Indicator Transmitter 104-ROF is a compact, reliable, and cost-effective solution for open channel flow measurement in various water and wastewater applications. Designed with a proven capacitance probe and microprocessor-based two-wire transmitter unit, the 104-ROF is ideal for installation on hydraulic structures like weirs and flumes. It converts rising water levels into accurate flow rates using a built-in linearizer with up to 600 calibration points, ensuring precise results. The system features a weatherproof IP65 enclosure, a digital LCD for real-time flow and level display, isolated 4-20 mA output, and optional MODBUS RS485/232 communication. Applications include inlet/outlet monitoring in filter beds, effluent treatment plants, and water treatment facilities. With ±2% accuracy, self-diagnostic messages, password protection, and low maintenance, the 104-ROF is globally suited for dependable flow monitoring across municipal and industrial sectors.
