SBEM’s Active Zener Barrier Series 134 ACTZB S is a certified interface solution engineered for seamless power and RS485 communication between non-intrinsically safe (non-IS) and intrinsically safe (IS) circuits in 134 DLi Inventory and Density Probe systems. Designed for global applications in hazardous environments, this Active Zener Barrier complies with ATEX and IECEx standards (60079-0 and 60079-11), ensuring superior safety and performance. The unit features one or two configurable Zener channels, each capable of supporting up to four tanks, with a total capacity of eight probes in a multi-drop configuration. It eliminates the need for earthing and is housed in a non-metallic, IP54-rated enclosure for installation in safe areas. The intrinsically safe outputs can safely extend into EPL Ga zones, making it ideal for global petroleum and chemical industries.
